The objective was describe feasibility a one-step procedure combining nephroureterectomy (NU) anterior pelvic exenteration (APE) using Da Vinci X robot with one-piece vaginal extraction. METHODS: We included all consecutive patients from 2 institutions that underwent concomitant robotic NU APE, between January 1st 2019 February 26th 2021. Pre operative data, time, blood loss, length stay were recorded. RESULTS: 3 had APE Median age 71 years (min 69 – max 73). indication cystectomy Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (MIBC) in cases (66%) very high risk Non (NMIBC) 1 case (33%). time 338 minutes 326-max 410). loss 180 mL 150–max 220). Bilateral lymph node dissection (PLND) done (100%). hospital 7 days 5 8). Pathologic examination R0 dans R1 (Table 1) CONCLUSIONS: extraction is feasible technique allowing better preservation female’s body image avoiding large abdominal incision. Pelvic exenteration – reconsidering the procedure
Pelvic exenteration remains one of the most destructive surgical procedures in gynecologic oncology, performed in patients with locally advanced malignancies who were considered for a long time as unresectable. However, for these patients, an aggressive surgical approach seems to be the only potential curative solution. This is a literature review of the most important studies, which analyzes t...

brovascular occlusive disease, or from peripheral arterial occlusive disease. As shown in Table 1, there were distinctly higher homocysteine concentrations for seropositive subjects in subgroups of age, renal function, smoking status, and MTHFR gene mutations. These variables influencing serum homocysteine, as well as vitamin B 6 , vitamin B 12 , and folic acid, are moreover homogeneously (not ...
متن کاملPrimary Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma of a Urethral Diverticulum Treated with Multidisciplinary Robotic Anterior Pelvic Exenteration
Primary urethral carcinoma is extremely rare and is marked by a variety of clinical symptoms. Primary carcinoma of a urethral diverticulum is still rarer and clear cell adenocarcinoma of the urethra is particularly uncommon (Swartz et al., 2006). Such infrequency has led to inadequate management guidance in the literature for a disease that is often late in presentation and carries substantial ...

Testosterone was measured using antibodies raised against testosterone II B-carboxymethyl ether bovine serum albmin (T-IIB-CME-BSA) and testosterone 3- O-carboxymethyl oxime-BSA as immunogen. The antibody produced in this study exhibits minimal cross reactivity with the structurally related steroids specially 5 dihydrotestosterone (5 DHD. This allows to ommit the clean up step and measure ...
متن کاملRobotic Total Pelvic Exenteration with Laparoscopic Rectus Flap: Initial Experience
Total pelvic exenteration is a highly morbid procedure performed for locally advanced pelvic malignancies. We describe our experience with three patients who underwent robotic total pelvic exenteration with laparoscopic rectus flap and compare perioperative characteristics to our open experience. Demographic, tumor, operative, and perioperative factors were examined with descriptive statistics ...
